THIS WEEK IN REVIEW

April 28, 2013

Busy week! Lots of work, writing, indulgences from Trader Joe's and quality time spent at the park.

This week, I reviewed PJ Katz's latest release, Ear Food Vol. 1, which is available via Pig Food Records for free as a local release first and a digital release second. It's hard to be critical of the production that Katz creates and it's maybe to the point where I shouldn't try to write about his work anymore, just listen.

I also spent some time writing about Mic Lanny and DeeJay Tone's latest project, Good Cop Bad Cop. It was awesome getting to hear the recorded version prior to hearing it performed live at their record release show. I like to spend time with music before I write about it and I appreciated a couple people bringing up questions about my writing process at the show.
