Kode9 at EMPAC

Last night, Andrew and I checked out Kode9 at EMPAC, which is the best venue he could have played in upstate NY, period. The last time I saw this prolific DJ/producer was in 2012 in Croatia among a crowd of thousands. Seeing him in an audience of 100 was a rare treat and also a reminder of how much I enjoy that type of music. Kode9's label, Hyperdub, is celebrating its 10th year, which is remarkable for an underground and influential record label. It was awesome that Kode9 kicked off his tour locally.
