New job announcement!

I admittedly have neglected updating my blog this past month. But a new month has already begun and also marks the beginning of several transitions for me.

First and foremost (and perhaps what I'm most excited about), I've accepted a position at Hounds on the Hudson! The new storefront for the company opens this week in time for First Friday Albany. Very grateful for the opportunity to work with such cool people and to be able to grow with a local company.

Additionally, I'm over a month into my new fitness attitude and routine (actually working out and caring!) I am looking forward to what this fall will throw my way and I hopefully will also be getting back into the swing of things with my writing. Funemployment is OVER!

This month in review

August is sliding by relatively fast! I hate/love to say it but I'm already looking forward to the fall. This summer was a test of character for me to say the least and I appreciate being able to put the mantra "trust your struggle" back into perspective. Life is good. Greeting new beginnings with bright eyes.

MASS MoCA: Photos

Earlier this week I paid a visit to the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. I haven’t been in just over a year and a half, so pretty much everything was new to me, save for Sol LeWitt‘s ongoing exhibit. You easily can spend all day there without feeling overwhelmed from “too much” art. It’s one of my favorite day trips to take and I highly recommend you make the trek if you haven’t been, or haven’t been in awhile. Additionally, on Thursdays this summer, the beer garden is open until 11pm – where drinks are served from the Chalet, an interactive work of art created by Dean Baldwin.
