Review: The Jump - Devin B

My most recent album review was really enjoyable to write and I'm still listening to the album on the regular following my write-up. Devin B, of Sub-Bombin Records, is releasing his debut full length next week and the fellas at SB were thoughtful enough to send an advance copy my way. I always appreciate receiving music in advance because it allows me to spend time with the material in order to create a thorough and genuine review. Additionally, I loved all the graphics that went along with the promotion for this and you can tell that everyone involved has enjoyed working on this project. Congrats to Devin B, may this be the first of many solid releases! You may view my review in full over on Keep Albany Boring

Interview with C. Amanda Boutahorse

I first went to a burlesque show by accident. I had no idea I was going to be attending such a performance and by the end of it, I was cheering with the loud lot of 'em. Performance artist C. Amanda Boutahorse caught my eye, mostly because I knew she was new to the art of burlesque. I wanted to find out more about how she got into the art and learn more about the burlesque scene, specifically in relation to Albany, NY. You can view the full interview over on Keep Albany Boring

New post for Beatport News

Recently did a little round-up for Beatport News. It was nice doing some research and heading to the vault to get nostalgic about dubstep. I love British accents and the music that first got me into electronic music.
