I recently did a guest contribution to the feminist webzine publication, Bitchtopia.com. Just a little reflection on dating in the modern world and some issues I have with it. Kept it simple, kept it vague.

I always enjoy taking advantage of any opportunity to meet fellow members and supporters of the local media, especially since a lot of interaction only happens in the digital space these days. AllOverAlbany celebrated their 5th anniversary as a website earlier this past week, with a get together at the City Beer Hall. Photographer Andy Kainz captured me talking to a couple friends that I've met from attending art shows in Albany. Thanks for this!
DIRTY PROJECTORS AND DELICATE STEVE AT SKIDMORE
This past weekend, Andrew and I headed to Skidmore to check out bands Delicate Steve and the Dirty Projectors. After circling campus more times than desired, we found that it was in the gymnasium and not at the arts theater (which was only a disappointment given that their sound system in that venue is comparable to that of EMPAC's). I love listening to live bands play in spaces they typically don't perform in and was rather impressed by both Delicate Steve and the Dirty Projectors. Felt like a show to cross off my list, although given the opportunity, I would see either play again in a heartbeat.
